How To Join {KAN}
If you want to join {KAN}, or one of our leaders asked you to visit our forum to sign up, you should check out our forum to see what {KAN} is all about. If you like what you see, use the Register button at the top of the screen to create an account on the forum. You will get an account activation email, and will need to reply to it to activate your forum account. Once your account is active, please post a request to join in the Recruitment section of the forum. Usually within a few days, one of our leaders (Beast, Godfather, or ADW) will see your post and reply. Also, for a while, they and other {KAN} will check out your skills and attitude in games. If our leaders like what they see, one of them will let you know that you are"IN". Some hints if you want to join;
- Play on {KAN} servers or on other servers where {KAN} members are playing, so we can check out your playing style and skills.
- Become an active member on our forum.
- Camping, spamming, teamkilling and similar behavior in-game is a problem and decreases your chances of being asked to join.
- Be friendly to {KAN} members both here and in-game. {KAN} has some incredibly good players, but we play for fun and friendly competition.

About Us
We are an active Doom 3 clan, with basis from old and new Doom playing friends who play for fun. We like old school but also new mods like FMJ and latest versions of EMZ. If you play with us you will notice that Team deathmatch is the preferred gametype and very seldom Tourney, that’s because we like to play all together and with a bit of strategy. "if you like to have fun - we have the gun".
The thing that makes KAN unique is the members. They are the single most important part of any community. Many of the members manage and run servers within the Doom 3 community as well as exchange ideas and provide advice to lesser skilled players. That's what makes it so special... people spending time doing things for the pleasure and enjoyment for their fellow gamers.
We come from all over the world – USA, UK, Russia, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Poland, India, Hungary and Spain. We come in all ages, from teenagers to middle-aged. We come in both genders. We come in peace :)

History
In late 2006, The Beast {KAN}and some other players were becoming increasingly frustrated by players who did not ready up, killed their teammates, camped, and were generally unpleasant.
Therefore, during the heat of battle they formed a fellowship to fight back against this growing threat. The fellowship soon became known as KAN, standing for Kick Ass Noobs, reflecting the players abilities to truly kick some ass.
News of this great fellowship and its ideas soon spread, attracting other players such as Sweet Little Slut{KAN} and Monochrome {KAN}, to join the ranks and eventually form the basis of the KAN clan.

Currently we have 2 dedicated servers located in the UK, though some {KAN} members also host their own servers as individuals.
